Termos de The 1000th Challenge

Terms and Conditions: The 1000 Challenge 1. Challenge period The 1000 Challenge starts on 6 November 2026 at 00:00 Swiss time (CET, UTC+1) and ends when ten riders have reached 1000 valid laps. The challenge takes place worldwide on all tracks available in the Vorld App. Only laps ridden during the official challenge period and correctly recorded and validated via the Vorld App count toward the leaderboard. 2. Permitted vehicles The challenge is open to all vehicle types that can be recorded in the Vorld App. 3. Leaderboard There is one single leaderboard for all participants. There are no separate categories for gender, age or vehicle. 4. Goal of the challenge and winners The goal of the challenge is to be among the first riders to complete 1000 valid laps during the challenge period. Participants may ride as often as they like and on as many tracks as they like. All valid and validated laps recorded for the participant during the challenge period, on any track, are added to their total. The first ten participants to reach a total of 1000 valid and validated laps, based on the time recorded by the Vorld App, are the winners. If two or more participants reach 1000 laps at the same recorded time, the participant who registered for the challenge first ranks higher. 5. Prize Each of the ten winners receives a limited edition 1000 hoodie. The winners will be contacted directly. Info: [email protected] Velosolutions covers shipping costs to the winner’s country. Any customs duties or import taxes are borne by the winner. 6. Participation Participation is free via the Vorld App. Participants must accept these terms and conditions in the Vorld App before they can take part in the challenge. By taking part in the challenge, riders agree to these terms and conditions and to all applicable rules or instructions communicated by Velosolutions or the track operators. Participants under the age of 18 need the consent of a parent or legal guardian to take part. Participants must comply with all applicable laws, local regulations, track rules and instructions from track owners and operators. 7. Ride smart Your safety comes first. 1000 laps is a lot. Take breaks, drink enough and stop when you’re tired. Don’t take unnecessary risks to increase your lap count. Respect other track users. Participation is entirely at your own risk. Every rider is responsible for their own safety, health, equipment, insurance and conduct. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Velosolutions, Vorld, track owners, partners and sponsors accept no liability for injuries, accidents, losses, damage or other consequences arising from participation in the challenge. Participants must always wear appropriate protective equipment and ride within their own abilities. 8. Fair play and valid laps Only laps correctly recorded and validated via the Vorld App count for the challenge. Velosolutions reserves the right to check, validate, adjust or remove recorded laps where necessary. Velosolutions may correct lap totals or challenge results if technical problems, software errors, validation updates or data integrity checks reveal incorrect or incomplete results. Velosolutions may disqualify participants or cancel prizes in cases including, but not limited to: cheating; artificially increasing the lap count; manipulation of lap data or the leaderboard; exploiting vulnerabilities in software or hardware; fraudulent activity; using multiple accounts; misuse or manipulation of the Vorld App or the challenge system; providing false or misleading information; unsporting behaviour; or conduct that seriously damages the reputation or integrity of the challenge, Vorld or Velosolutions. Only laps physically ridden by the participating rider themselves, on a track available in the Vorld App, during the official challenge period, are eligible. Velosolutions reserves the right to decide on the validity of recorded laps and on eligibility for prizes. Its decisions on lap totals, rankings, eligibility and winners are final, subject to applicable law. 9. Identity verification Before a prize is awarded, Velosolutions may ask the winner for proof of identity, age, place of residence or other information reasonably required to verify eligibility. The winner must also provide valid contact details and a delivery address so Velosolutions can contact them about the prize and send it. For winners under 18, Velosolutions may contact a parent or legal guardian. Anyone who does not provide the requested information within the given deadline may be disqualified, and the prize may then be awarded to the next rider to reach 1000 valid laps. 10. Announcement of winners Winners will be contacted via the contact details linked to their Vorld account. If a winner cannot be reached or does not respond within 14 days of being notified, Velosolutions may award the prize to the next rider to reach 1000 valid laps. 11. Force majeure Velosolutions reserves the right to change, suspend or cancel the challenge in whole or in part if circumstances beyond its reasonable control make this necessary or appropriate. Such circumstances include, but are not limited to: natural disasters; extreme weather; closure or maintenance of tracks; war; civil unrest; public health emergencies; government measures or restrictions; technical failures; or cybersecurity incidents. Where reasonably possible, participants will be informed of significant changes to the challenge. 12. Taxes and personal obligations The winner is solely responsible for any taxes, duties, costs or other personal obligations that may arise in connection with receiving or using the prize, to the extent required by applicable law. Velosolutions accepts no responsibility for the winner’s personal tax or other obligations. 13. Limitation of liability To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Velosolutions, Vorld, partners, sponsors and track owners are not liable for any loss, damage, injury, costs or expenses arising from participation in the challenge or from accepting or using a prize, except where such liability cannot be excluded or limited by law. Nothing in these terms and conditions is intended to exclude, limit or modify rights or remedies that cannot be excluded, limited or modified under applicable law. 14. Privacy Personal data collected in connection with participation in the challenge is processed in accordance with the Vorld privacy policy and applicable data protection and privacy laws. Participants are advised to read the Vorld privacy policy for information on how their personal data is collected, used and stored. 15. Changes to these terms Velosolutions may amend these terms and conditions where reasonably necessary, including to reflect changes to the challenge, applicable law, technical requirements or operational circumstances. The latest version of these terms and conditions will be published via the relevant Vorld or challenge platform. Where appropriate, participants will be informed of significant changes. 16. Acceptance By taking part in the 1000 Challenge, participants confirm that they have read, understood and agree to these terms and conditions. Participation also confirms that the participant agrees to comply with all applicable track rules and Vorld rules.
