Points system
You don't have to be the fastest to climb the Vorld Ranking.
Here's how the system works, and why consistency counts as much as speed.
Where points come from
Many ways to earn. Every time you ride.
Points are earned through four separate rankings that run simultaneously on every Vorld-activated Velosolutions Pump Track.
Fastest 10 of the day
The day's top 10 riders by lap time. Points feed the Vorld Ranking at midnight.
Most laps of the day
The day's 10 riders with the most laps. Points feed the Vorld Ranking at midnight.
Fastest 100 of the month
The month's top 100 by lap time. Points feed the Vorld Ranking at month end.
Most laps of the month
The month's 100 riders with the most laps. Points feed the Vorld Ranking at month end.
Points are earned within your category, age group, discipline, and gender. You compete against riders like you. You can still compare your times to all users by choosing "all". If you compete in more than one discipline, you can also see where you stand on the overall Vorld Ranking, which summarises all points you've earned across every discipline.
Points scale
Progressive. Competitive at the top. Generous further down.
The scale is deliberately steep at the top, the gap between 1st and 2nd is large. It flattens as you go down, so small improvements in the middle of the ranking still move you meaningfully. Every position matters.
Points by position
Monthly ranking, top 100. Hover or tap any position to see its points value.
Why consistency beats a single great day
20 visits. 20 chances to score.
Every day you ride, you have up to four chances to earn points, daily speed, daily laps, and your contribution to the monthly speed and lap rankings. The rider who shows up most often has the most opportunities.

Alex is faster. Sam earns more points. Both are doing exactly what the system is designed to reward.
This is not an accident. A pumptrack that riders visit regularly is a healthy, thriving pumptrack. Vorld rewards the behaviour that makes that happen.
Three ways to measure your progress
Track rankings. Vorld Ranking. Personal score.
These are three different things, and it matters to understand how they relate to each other.
Track rankings
Every Vorld-equipped Velosolutions Pump Track has its own daily, monthly and all-time rankings, within each discipline and category. These reset regularly. All-time rankings are permanent records and don't give points, they are the track's history.
The Vorld Ranking
Your global position within your category, built from all the points you've earned across every Vorld-equipped Velosolutions Pump Track worldwide. Points stay valid for 365 days, ride consistently and you keep climbing. Stop riding and your points slowly expire, and you drop back. Updated every day at 10:05 CET. Works like the UCI MTB World Ranking: a rolling window that rewards consistent performance throughout the year.
Your personal score
The total of every point you have ever earned on Vorld, across all tracks, all disciplines, all time. Unlike your Vorld Ranking, your personal score never decreases. It only ever goes up.
Disciplines and the overall ranking
Ride more than one discipline. Earn in all of them.
You can compete in multiple disciplines simultaneously, bike, skateboard, inline skates, scooter or wheelchair. Your points from each discipline count toward both the discipline-specific ranking and your overall Vorld Ranking.
